Shabanna, nacida en La Guaira, Estado Vargas, Venezuela. Sus primeros estudios fueron de  Danza Nacionalista y el  Ballet Clásico.

A la edad de 17 años se prepara y comienza a impartir clases de gimnasia aeróbica en los más prestigiosos gimnasios de la zona, empieza  su inclinación por la danza contemporánea, y por las nuevas corrientes de la época como el Funk, y el Hip Hop.

Mas tarde debuta como bailarina con las mejores escuelas de samba del país, trabajo este que la llevo más allá de nuestras fronteras.  Fueron varios años y muchas las presentaciones como Garota, lo que dejó en ella ese marcado estilo y su excelente oído para las percusiones.

En el 2000 se radica en una localidad del Oriente del país, y allí empieza a dictar clases de baile en distintos gimnasios de la ciudad, también nace su pasión por la danza árabe.  Desde este año sus logros han sido imparables! se destaca por su incomparable estilo y metodología para enseñar.

Decide abrirse paso internacionalmente, participando en importantes eventos en países tales como Brasil,  China, Argentina, Usa, México, etc.

En el 2007 viaja al Cairo, Egipto. Su estilo se había cristalizado. Allí toma clases con los que considera sus maestros: Raqia Hassan, Abdel Alfattah Naeem, Ala Eldin Youssef, Essam Mounir.

Para el mismo año decide aventurarse a conocer más de cerca todo sobre la cultura egipcia, y se establece en el Cairo por dos meses, conviviendo con su gente, aprendiendo de su día a día.

En el 2008 conduce un programa de tv, de corte deportivo.

 Ese mismo año en octubre se convierte en la primera venezolana invitada al Festival de Danza Arabe en Beijing, China, allí imparte sus clases, forma parte del jurado de la competencia, y actúa en las galas del Opening y la clausura. Siendo premiada por la organización por su contribución con el mejor shimmy.

Hasta la actualidad es considerada una de las mejores bailarinas, coreógrafas y profesoras del país.  Por ello en Julio de 2009 fue la primera Bellydancer  venezolana en ser invitada  por Madam Raqia Hassan, a bailar en la gala de los profesores del Festival de Danza Arabe más grande e importante del mundo el “Ahlan Wa Sahlan”,  en el Cairo, Egipto.

Actualmente es miembro del Consejo Internacional de la Danza . CID UNESCO.

Shabanna, born in La Guaira, Vargas Estate, Venezuela. Her first studies were Nationalistic dances and classical ballet.

At the age of 17 she trained and starts teaching aerobic gymnastic in the most important gyms of the area. Then start her tendencies towards the rhythm at the time as Funk and Hip Hop.

Later she debuted as dancer with the best schools of SAMBA. This work took her beyond our frontiers. They were several years and many the performances as GAROTA, which gave her a remarkable style and excellent ear for percussions.

. In 2000, she moves to another state in wich she starts to teach dance in different gyms, and her passion for Belly Dance begins. Since that year her achievements have been unstoppable! She stands out for her peerless style and methodology to teach.

Then she decides to make her way to an international career. She visits countries as Brazil, Argentina, USA, Mexico, etc. 

In 2007 she travelled to Cairo, Egypt. Her style got crystallized. Her teachers are: Madam Raqia Hassan, Abdel Alfattah Naeem, Ala Eldin Youssef, Essam Mounir.

 That very year she dares to much more about the Egyptian culture and remains in Cairo for two months, living with the people, learning day by day.

 In 2008 she heads a TV show, like a sport show.

That very year, in October she becomes the first Venezuelan to be invited to the Arabian Dance Festival in Beijing, China. There she teaches, belongs to the jury and performers in the opening and the closing ceremony. She is awarded by the organization for her contribution with the “Best Shimmy”.

Till these days she has participated in countless events in and out of Venezuela. She is considered one of the best dancers, choreographers and teachers of the country.  That the reason why, in July 2009 she was invited to perform at the teachers `Gala by Madam Raqia Hassan, as the first Venezuelan Bellydancer in the biggest and most important Arabian Dance Festival in the world, the “Ahlan Wa Sahlan”, in Cairo, Egypt.

Shabanna is actually CID UNESCO member.
